Knee-to-Wall Ankle Mobilization β€” start/setup and end/loaded positions
Left: start / setup position. Right: end / loaded position.

How to do it

  1. Half-kneel with the front foot a few inches from a wall, pointing straight at it.
  2. Keep the back knee down for stability and the front heel firmly planted.
  3. Drive the front knee toward the wall, tracking over the toes.
  4. Keep the heel glued to the floor the whole time.
  5. Back off if the front of the ankle pinches, then repeat smoothly.

Form cues

  • Heel stays glued down β€” that's what makes it count
  • Knee tracks straight over the toes
  • Move to the wall in small, repeated glides

Dosage

  • Frequency: daily
  • Volume: 2–3 sets Γ— 8–10 reps each side
  • Progress by moving the foot further from the wall.
