Frequently Asked Questions
How does the posture scan work?
You upload four standing photos β front, back, left, and right. The app detects body landmarks in your browser using an on-device pose model, measures alignment angles and ratios, and produces a movement score with a list of observations and a corrective-exercise plan.
Are my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The analysis runs entirely in your browser. Your photos are never sent to a server β they stay on your device.
Is this medical advice?
No. The scan and articles are educational wellness content that highlight posture patterns. They are not a diagnosis. See a qualified clinician for any pain, injury, or medical concern.
How accurate is the analysis?
The metrics are calibrated against a labeled catalog of posture photos and are best treated as a screening tool to spot patterns, not precise clinical measurements. Lighting, clothing, camera angle, and stance all affect the result β use a consistent, relaxed pose across all four photos.
What can the scan detect β and what can it not?
It reliably flags front/side alignment issues such as forward head, rounded shoulders, head and shoulder tilt, uneven hips, trunk shift and lean, knee bend, and knee valgus. It cannot measure spine-curvature conditions (like thoracic kyphosis or scoliosis) or pelvic tilt, because the body landmarks it uses do not include the spine or pelvis bony points.
How often should I do the corrective exercises?
Each exercise lists a suggested dosage. As a general guide, daily mobility and activation with two to three strengthening sessions a week is a sustainable starting point. Consistency matters more than intensity.
