Balancing Standing Quadriceps Stretch demonstration

How to do it

  1. Set up the standing quadriceps stretch: a strap around the top of your right foot and over your right shoulder, right knee bent, resting a hand on the wall.
  2. Push away from the wall to balance without support.
  3. Hold 20 s, focusing on the muscles being stretched.
  4. Return and repeat twice per side.

  • Equipment: a gymnastic strength band, yoga strap, or resistance band all work β€” use whichever you have.

Dosage

  • Hold 20 s
  • relax
  • repeat 2Γ— per side
