How to do it

  1. Sit with your leg straight and relaxed.
  2. Place your fingers or a ball just above your kneecap, on the soft pouch of tissue.
  3. Gently press and glide the tissue up, down, and side to side to restore mobility around the kneecap.

Form cues

  • Apply gentle pressure just above the kneecap; don't press directly on the patella.
  • Keep the thigh relaxed and move slowly.
  • Ease off if the pressure is sharp or painful.
